Seurakunnan monikulttuurisuustyö tukee maahanmuuttajien sopeutumista suomalaiseen yhteiskuntaan. 

Maahanmuuttajille on tarjollamonenlaista aktiviteettia ja ryhmätoimintaa. Ole kuin kotonasi!
Esimerkkejä toiminnasta:

• miesten ryhmä ja naisten ryhmä
• nuortenilta
• leirit lapsille ja perheille 
• pyhäkoulu
• ukrainan- ja venäjänkielisten seurat ja pyhäkoulu

• kristillinen kohtaaminen pakolaisille

Immigrants

Multicultural work in Kokkola finnish congregation helps immigrants to adapt in to finnish society. 

We offer variety of activities and groups for immigrants. International meetings are in finnish and english. There are also own meetings for language groups. In these groups we have volunteers leading the fellowship. Feel yourself like home!
For example we have:

• Groups for men and women
• Youth evenings
• Camps for children and families
• Sunday schools
• Ukrainian and Russian fellowship and Sunday school
• Sudan fellowship
• Kareni fellowship and Sunday school
• Kristian meeting for refugees

We spend time together, share, and get to know each other. And we try to learn finnish together. You are warmly welcome!

Ecumenic prayer 

When: 25th October, wednesday at 18.00.
What: Ecumenic prayer together with all the christians.

International youth

Lighthouse

International meeting for youth, students, and young adults.
We pray and worship, have Bible studu, share life, and eat good food.
Place: Kaarlelan seurakuntakoti (address: Kruunupyyntie 3), downstairs in Tararant-room.

Once a month on Saturday at 18.00.

Volleyball

When: Friday at 19.00.
What: Volleyball group for young men at Villa school.
Place: Villa school, (address: Opettajankuja 2).

Family church

When: sunday 1st October at 10.00
What: Short sunday service for families with small children, includes sunday school

Fathers's Day Celebration

When: sunday 11th November at 14.00
We sing together, pray, children groups sing, cake and coffee is served

Mother's Day celebration

When: sunday 12th May 2024
What: We sing together, pray, children groups sing, cake and coffee and cake service

What: Fellowship for families, games, plays and crafts for children, barbeque, having fun together

Family Day and Venetsialais-celebration 

When: coming up 2024 at August
What: Fellowship for families, games, plays and crafts for children, barbeque, having fun together
Venetsialaiset is a regional event for Kokkola citizens, the celebration of light and fire, end of summertime.
Where: Vasikkasaari camping center

Others

International Club SILTA

Open for every age and all families. We meet other immigrants, we learn about Finland and learn to use finnish language. You can also ask for help if needed.
Place: Community Club SILTA (address: Ryövärinkarintie 1)

Every Wednesday at 16.00 - 18.00.
Once a month church worker participates. Also other organizations take part.
